微軟宣布Windows XP只剩2年壽命 Vista 4月11日謝幕

微軟 (Microsoft)((US-MSFT)) 周二 (10 日) 宣布，準備中止通行全球長達 10 多年的個人電腦 (PC) 作業系統 Windows XP，將在 2 年後不再提供任何支援。

微軟同時提醒用戶，文書處理軟體 Office 2003 也將在 2 年後同一天──即 2014 年 4 月 8 日──停止支援，用戶現在應開始準備軟體升級。

微軟同時宣布，Windows Vista 作業系統主流支援只到今天為止，往後支援將改為按件付費。

微軟 Windows 部門行銷主任 Stella Chernyak 在官方部落格發布貼文表示，Windows XP 及 Office 2003 曾是很棒的軟體，但隨著技術環境演進，使用者需求及期待也跟著改變。

她建議，用戶現在可開始將電腦分別升級至 Windows 7 及 Office 2010 軟體，尤其是企業用戶。

Windows XP 雖早在 2001 年上市，但至今在美國仍是最多人使用的 PC 桌機作業系統。根據市場研究公司 Net Applications 調查，XP 在美國桌機市占率達 47%，其次是 Windows 7 的 37.5%，以及 Vista 的 7.7%。

面對這項消息，企業 IT 部門可能猶豫該升級至 Win 7，還是等到今年稍晚 Windows 8 推出時再升級。Chernyak 建議企業不該等，宜先升級至 Win 7，因應在支援還在的情況下，來完成公司所有電腦軟體升級；且盡快升級，可享受較佳的使用效果。（鉅亨網）
