前後相兼全憑上下兩元之取捨而定，例如下元六運子山午向，前兼癸則作用少了，因癸乃上元三運正龍，於此時已是過氣，而且是七運之殺氣，故不兼之。向後兼壬則到八運時仍然能借旺，以補悠久也。識得此法，則二十四山之前後作用可以舉一反三了。明此亦可明“甲癸申貪狼一路行”一語。小可在此拋磚引玉，公諸同好，望談氏六法發揚光大。

庚山甲向旺在上元四运，一运庚山合五而零正倒置，无论兼左兼右皆成凶象。其中兼酉大凶，兼申小吉（申通六运卦气，一六同宗之妙。）仍旧凶多吉少。实际上并非人为兼左兼右就可以趋吉避凶了，还需要来龙配合，所谓“前后八尺不宜杂”，还有些子一卦只有一卦之用，此等龙法实不可兼。
