Itis like a design concept, once theconcept is shaped in mind (doesn'tmatter it is so-called right or wrong; as whatis right or wrong?);experimentally to work it out in a practical way torealize this conceptor thinking as may be the case herein.
So, the point is how well we can get out those good extracts fromI-Ching toapply in our practical life. That is my ultimate aim ofstudying andresearching I-Ching. Also, how can we easily and directlyto tell others aboutthe I-Ching as in the layman term and not to letothers boring in understandingI-Ching?
Well, my friend, I-Ching (Yijing - classic of change) is not a scientific study rather it is philosophical. It is about the realm of truth more so than the realm of reality. It would seem that you are seeking practical reasoning instead of theoretical reasoning. I believe moral metaphysic is properly what you are working toward. Anyway, it would help if we understand Kant's philosophy which epistemology wise is about empirical realism and transcendental idealism (concept Vs Idea). Technically, Chinese philosophy does not have seperate ontology and cosmology like in western philosophy. We have ontological cosmology instead which has creativity (生生) as the central proposition. I can appreciate your wish to explain Yijing in layman's term so that more people can benefit from it. But I am afraid there is nothing layman about the depth and scope of its philosophy; therefore, such attempt to "dumb" down Yijing may not have a positive effect for the study. It'll be a tremendous job and daunting task to demystify it for the masses.
