第四节  偏财含义
（一）偏财的精神性含义
心态表现为：
“控制我所能控制的任何具体之物或事件，但却不执着在这个事或物上”，例如编辑，整理书本，绘图，雕刻，修理对象……，“操作身体，但对肉身的安适却有排斥之意”，例如练武术，做体操。虽理财，但却不重财，可将脑中的立体图案翻转，看出展开图或侧面图――空间关系良好，能将“心象，心声”加以安置，编排。
特点为：“为我肉身所控制，限制，且与我关系并不亲密”。所表示的人、事物为：
不很重视的日常家务用具，不太亲密的妻子，偶获得的钱款（不是我的，但可以利用），自身的财产（但并不重视）。我的出生足以限制父亲的肉身利益（经父亲的生活，养家添了压力），故父亲为偏财。
偏财与正财在心态上最主要的区别是：正财对所控制的事物高度重视，所以比较谨慎、珍惜、患得患失，表现在钱财方面是即使钱多出手也不豪阔，表现在女人方面则是对妻子较为珍惜。偏财则是一种对自己所控制、拥有的事物可有可无的心态，表现在钱财方面则是在没有钱时花钱也不心痛，表现在女人方面则是情人，因为情人是可有可无的。命中有偏财无正财的男人，对妻子不太执着。正财稳定，故正财多为稳定性收入，偏财多为流动性资产。（正财为妻，是稳定的，偏财情人，是不稳定的）。
（二）偏财的非精神含义
偏财坐墓，父妻早亡（坐墓怕逢克制）；
偏财坐死墓绝之地，有父或妻运道衰困之感；
偏财坐七杀，主父有漂泊之象。
偏财在月柱，有父掌家权之象。
偏财旺正财不旺，岁运引发， 正妻受欺负；正财旺，偏妻略有逊色。
偏财坐将星，娶富贵人家之女为妻（将星为豪门）。
