2007年世界大学排名（泰晤士报）此次是《泰晤士报高等教育增刊》第四次发布世界大学排名。2007年世界大学排名采取6项指标：1、Peer Review Score同行评价，主要通过调查学者和专家对各大学的评价，据称今年调查了5101名学者（占总分比例40％)；2、Employer Review Score雇主满意度评价（占总分比例10％），据称今年调查了1482个国际公司；3、Staff/student score师生比例（占总分比例20％）；4、Citations/staff score 论文被引用数目和教师的比例（占总分比例20％％）；5、国际教职员工比例（占总分比例5％）；6、国际学生比例（占总分比例5％）。

老爸難為兒上不了名校爹考上清華做榜樣

黑龍江有個六十二歲的老先生老滕，因為兒子考不上好大學，自己下海苦讀，考上了清華大學的研究所，給兒子做個榜樣。
老滕的兒子小滕功課不錯，三年前考大學，老滕一心以為小滕會考上北大、清華這些名校。沒想到小滕只進了南昌大學。老滕痛罵了小滕一頓，還說，他要考給兒子看。接下來一個多月，老滕連正眼都不瞧小滕一眼。
老滕喜歡畫國畫，多年來跟不少名師學習過。於是決定報考清華藝術學院研究所。清大藝術研究所要考政治、外語和專業知識。老滕是北京第二外語學院畢業的。所以，外語對他來說不是大問題。接下來，他每天白天去哈爾濱師範大學學美術知識，晚上在家自修外語和政治，經常讀到半夜。第二年，就考取了清華大學藝術研究所。
進了學校，老滕有點不適應。因為，他的同學都是三十出頭的，就連老師也只有四十來歲，全班就他一個六旬老翁。不過，老滕還是希望小滕大學畢業可以考進名校的研究所，光耀門楣。
